Join us for a hands on experience during our Relief-Printing Workshop! Dive into the art of relief-printing (block-printing / linocut) as we craft unique and personalized Christmas cards together. This two hour workshop blends creativity with relaxation, offering you a chance to learn how to design, hand carve and hand print your own art into holiday cards. No prior art nor printing experience is required—just bring your self! Whether you’re an artist or a beginner, you'll leave with your very own hand-printed cards and custom carved block. The workshop will be taught by local artist Marisa Segovia (she/her). She is a Mexican, German and Portuguese artist from Modesto, Ca. who resides in Chico, Ca. Segovia graduated from California State University Chico with a Bachelors of Fine Arts (Printmaking) and Bachelors of Art Education, with a minor in Art History. Her art is deeply rooted in printmaking, through which she weave narratives from personal history, community, and the beauty of everyday objects.
